Uttran Foundatios COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund has catered to urgent needs in Mumbai, Raigad, Nashik, Pune, Ahmednagar, Kohlapur, Sangli, Solapur and other parts of rural Maharashtra.
Our world has undergone a crisis due to COVID-19. Maharashtra being the hotspot for COVID-19 and continued lockdown, the pandemic has affected us at all possible levels. We witnessed our health care infrastructure crisis, the migrant crisis followed by unemployment and joblessness.The Swades Foundation has been on the ground, working to minimize the impact by supporting urgent relief and recovery for rural communities.

Uttran Foundation's COVID-19 Support
The Uttran task force actively engaged with the Director of Health Services, Govt. of Maharashtra and other civic authorities to meet the requirements of healthcare workers. With the help of our corporate partners were able to support essential medical equipment like ventilators, ambulances, oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, N95 Mask, Triple Layer Mask, Thermal Scanner, PPE Kits, etc. across Raigad, Mumbai, Nashik and other parts of rural Maharashtra.

The Uttran With our partner Uttran Foundation, we supported meals to homeless, migrant workers and slum dwellers across Mumbai. During the first and second wave, Swades Foundation has ensured over 3,60,000 meals for the needy.
Uttran Foundation has supported the District Administration of Raigad in ensuring successful COVID-19 vaccination across the 7 blocks of Raigad. For this, Uttran Foundation Team first addressed covid-19 hesitancy and mobilized the community through virtual consultations with experts and with the support of community opinion leaders and stakeholders. Our team also conducted a survey for uptake of COVID-19 vaccination in rural Raigad. Swades Foundation also supported the Raigad District Administration’s Door to Door vaccination camp with 3 mobile vaccination vans. These vans have ensured vaccination in the remotest parts of Raigad. So far over 45,000+ rural community members have been vaccinated.
